On Thursday I’ll be teaching a conflict coaching teleseminar for the Association for Conflict Resolution. Here is what’s on tap:
What: Coaching the Conflict Pivot: Three Steps to Help Free Clients from Conflict
When: Thursday, June 5, 1-2pm EDT
For whom: The Workplace Section members and my invited guests (that’s you!)
Continuing education credits? Yes, for ACR Advanced Practitioners
How to attend: I’ve gotten permission for you to be my invited guest
Description: A pivot is a change of direction and, therefore, focus. When people in ongoing conflict and tension focus attention in ways that get them stuck and cause the conflict to gnaw at them, freedom from the conflict means pivoting in three key ways. This conflict coaching teleseminar facilitated by Dr. Tammy Lenski is based on a framework she developed and used with coaching clients over the past decade. Tammy will introduce coaches to the framework, its uses, and ways to apply the process with their own clients. The teleseminar will answer these questions:
- What is the Conflict Pivot Framework and how is it used?
- With whom and how has it been used successfully?
- What kinds of coaching clients can most benefit from the framework?
- How can a coach learn and get experience using the framework?
